My Mom has been diagnosed with ALS as you probably know already. Her spirits are high and she refuses to take anti-depressants. She left for work this morning in a cheerful mood. I plan on spending alot of time with her around the holidays, to make sure she stays in good spirits. Sherry and I have discussed her moving in with Sherry. That will happen after the holidays since we will be around her alot anyway during this period. WE do have hope for her. I am glad she is fortunate to have a great group of friends and family. PLEASE PRAY FOR HER!
If you would like more information on this terrifying and fatal disease I have compiled a short list of resources:
"Tuesday's with Morrie"
ALS Fact Sheet
What is ALS? (Lou Gehrig's Disease)
Ways to help
Becker Video:AlS Awareness
MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association)
ALS Organization: How You Can Help!
Stem Cell Petition
Thank you for being there for her.
To all who are interested
I have over 10 tickets left to the Motor City Bowl at Ford Field (Detroit Lions Home) in Detroit on Friday December 26th at 5pm. The are all located together in section 110 rowS 35 & 36. THESE ARE EXCELLENT SEATS!!!!
The normally price on these tickets are $45.00. I bought 20 tickets at $20 dollars a pop Thinking it would be a great afternoon (and inexpensive !) to get together with some family members after the holiday. The ticket also comes with a FREE $7.00 food voucher to be used at any concession stand there. So in essence, the value of these tickets are over $50.00. That's a savings of over $30.00!!!
Plus a great way to spend some time with the family!
The Bowling Green Falcons will play against Northwestern University
Bowling Green finished the regular season at 10-2 and they are the MAC West Division Champions. Northwestern brings a 6-6 record and will become the VERY FIRST Big Ten team to play in the Motor City Bowl.
PLEASE CALL ME AT (248) 478-7852 OR (734) 915-0053 IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO COME HAVE SOME WHOLESOME FAMILY FUN
Love y'all and Merry Christmas,
Bobby
