An Easter Prayer.....
Dear Father God
We ask that You grant us wisdom this day
that we may have meaning and purpose
in our lives, and even in our death.
Grant us joy this day
that we may live full lives
and enjoy the blessings You have given us.
Grant us strength this day
that we may perform the duties
that our nation expects and our conscience demands.
Grant us memories of this day.
The memories of a loving family,
smiling faces, and the memory
that this day was a day of happiness.
We ask these things through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
In His name we pray
